SAINT GEORGE AND THE DRAGON
A Senior Thesis Animation
Hello, and welcome to my website. My name is Zachary Stetter, and I will be using this space to document both my process and the process of my group in the creation of this short. For any questions or inquiries, please feel free to contact me at the space provided below.
ABOUT THIS PROJECT
Based upon the open domain story, “Saint George and the Dragon”, this short follows a knight as he is given the quest to slay an evil dragon. However, when he arrives at the dragon’s cave, he is greeted by a scholarly lizard rather than a terrifying beast. The dragon befriends the knight, convincing him to sit for a while and giving him a book to read. When the knight returns to the town, he brings back a book from the dragon’s cave as well as a new poster, stating that the cave is now a library open for anyone to come and enjoy.
MY GOALS
Our group will create 2-4 minute short film centered on story and visuals. Alongside this film, I will keep a weekly blog detailing the progress I have made upon the short, as well as what I hope to achieve in the upcoming weeks.
